Super cute and authentic. Like Silver Diner if it was real. Good for kids. We came on a Friday morning on a road trip and were local celebrities as everyone came by and said how cute the kids were.

My grandfather used to take me here when I was a kid, he was on his deathbed and wanted their hamburger steak he loved that ♥️,, I went and got it for him, that was the last meal we had together. RIP Grandpa Petty ♥️ Anyways I went and got a western omelette from there this morning and it was very 🤤 😋 definitely recommend this place,, it's been around for a long time and the food is always been good every visit.. 10 out of 10 🔥🔥💯

Ever long for good old fashioned regular diner food freshly prepared like back in the day? This is your place. No frills. Just fresh and delicious, and reasonably priced. This is a dying genre. Thank the restaurant gods that West Side is here still doing it. I’m never disappointed.

Stop in for Lunch today with my Wife and I MUST Say, I am SO SO GLAD We did!!! First off, Old School Dinner Vibs when we walked in the door Not to mention, the FANTASTIC Aroma of Food outside before getting inside. I was going to order the Fried Cauliflower basket and a Hawaiian Shake and the our Incredible Waitress pointed out the "Burger, Fries and Shake Combo" and THAT is EXACTLY what I wanted!!! I got the combo with a Hawaiian Shake and let me tell you, 💯% out of 💯% and the Burger was PERFECT 💯%!! Grilled bun on the Burger was Absolutely delicious and the fries were crunchy on the outside and perfectly soft on the inside. My Wife ordered the Fish and Chips and again, 💯% on point, the fish was Perfect and Flaky and fries done Perfect as well. We live in Grand Rapids but the drive IS WORTH IT!!! 💯* If I could but only allowed 5*! The Kitchen did an incredible Job but The Waitress' were the Seriousness of This Place! They are Constantly moving but That's because of the Incredible Cooks in the Kitchen!!!! ABSOLUTELY, 100% RECOMMEND West Side Diner. Only bad thing is...... There isn't one in Grand Rapids!!!!

This place was much better than I expected! Actually I can't wait to go back. There is plenty of parking it's near the highway and located at the intersection of two main roads. The waitress was super friendly as was the lady who cashed us out. They have daily specials written on the sign when you first walk in there's plenty of seating mostly Booth style like an old school diner with really cool old photos up on all of the walls and an old legit style jukebox behind the counter. The menu is really good it's full it offers lots of different choices for people of all ages. I got the bacon cheeseburger with french fries and a shake. The shake was absolutely delicious I could go back for just that. It was super thick not overly sweet. It came in a cool metal cup with an actual metal spoon I mean who even gives metal spoon these days. The bacon cheeseburger had crispy edges crispy bacon a fresh tomato and a soft pillowy bun. French fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I also had some fried pickles with ranch dressing. The fried pickles were nice because the batter was really thin often times the batter's so thick you can't even taste the pickle this was not the cas
